Sustainability and equity are among the most challenging issues facing communities today. The pervasiveness of the pandemic has not only cast a spotlight on the systemic disparities plaguing our communities but has also widened the existing inequalities.<\/p>

There is a pressing need to deliver growth and well-being while simultaneously impacting systemic barriers plaguing communities and people of color at disproportionate rates. Place-based strategies aim to improve social, economic, and physical well-being and access to opportunity for people\u2014particularly people of color and families with low incomes\u2014who live in neighborhoods, cities, and rural communities experiencing disinvestment. Our solutions often involve collaboration across institutional sectors\u2014the public, private and nonprofit sectors. We offer a holistic approach
